Yoga Abs Workshop

Core Work is a pretty vague topic, so let’s talk about yoga and core work.
Did you know that you’re suggested to engage your abdominal muscles while IN most Vinyasa yoga postures (poses)? Yup, so while in downward dog and in warrior 2, you’re encouraged to engage your core; it completes the whole posture. And breathing.
This core work yoga workshop will explore different yoga postures that engage and work the abdominal muscles. Some postures like Boat Pose where abdominal muscles automatically are triggered, and we’ll practice some not so obvious postures like Dolphin pose.
These 4 classes are made to be as challenging as the attendee makes its to be. All postures introduced will be shown in a number of ways to achieve similar goals no matter the persons’ experience. Whether you want a 6-pack or maybe you experience Diastasis Recti (a physical condition both men and women can experience, when the rectus abdominis muscles partially or completely disconnect) this series of core exercises will impact each person differently. You are encouraged to come in with an open mind and be prepared to sweat a little (or a lot)!
Mats, blocks, bolsters, are provide. Dress comfortably, dressing in layers will help if you get hot.
